Today is graduation for my first graders. I need a box of tissues.

Birthday Catch-up

I thought I posed these pictures from Cody's birthday and mine but I never did. Here is some pictures from the boys birthday celebration. Cody and his twin, Cory went out to dinner with Cody's dad and me. Cody's mom was out of town.

Then on my birthday, I got these pictures. I take a picture of all my students in these glasses. They said I needed one of me :)

Mrs. Hill was my sub on my birthday. I was doing testing. She brought me a gift from my students. When she was subbing for me earlier that month for a training, she had all my students make a card. They kept it a surprise. It was so thoughtful for her to do that. Thanks Mrs. Hill!

Memorial Day

Thank you for everyone who fought for the freedom we have today!

On Saturday, Cody's brother invited us over to a Memorial Day party. Cody played golf that morning and came home to find Coco and me taking a nap :)

After I woke up and got ready, we headed over that night to enjoy some great food and laughs with friends.

We also learned about a game called cricket! It was so much fun!

You have two sets of the poles below. This would be team a's set. Team B throws a frisbee through team a's set. If they get it through the poles without hitting the poles, team b get three points. If they hit the side and knock a cup off, team b gets one point BUT if team a catches the cup before it hits the ground, team a gets the point. The first one to a 11 wins.

They also got sumo wrestling suits. Cody and Cory of course had to do it twice :)

They were both worn out by the second set of three rounds.

Coco

My parents gave us their old patio furniture and I am outside most nights reading or enjoying the summer nights. Coco sits at the window the whole time like this....

First year

My first year is coming to a wrap. Its insane to think of how fast it has flown. Here is a picture of Emily with her end of the year gift that her mom and her made for me. I love the crayon wreath!
