Valentines

Today has been a fantastic day! My husband (and Kurt) finished painting our house which was a fantastic gift. Plus I has 23 additional valentines this year. I had a great day in room 612, unpacked some stuff in our kitchen, painted a table and enjoyed dinner with my in laws, grandma-in law and Cody :) now curled up with coco in bed!

Painting

We spent the weekend painting our house. Cody didn't want me to mess anything up so I worked on moving. Thanks to friends and my mom and sister, we have the blinds up, kitchen moved, all but the bathrooms painted, and a lot of other stuff moved. We are taking more tomorrow and are hoping to be fully in by the weekend :)

Ready

We are ready for valentines in my classroom. Here are some pictures of the kids valentines bags!

Our house

Today we made a huge step. Cody and I bought our first house. The painting started tonight and will carry on for the weekend.

My mom and sister came in to help me start moving. I will share pictures soon but here are a few from tonight :)

Yard sale

Yesterday, Cody and I joined Cody's parents for a yard sale. I am trying to get rid of half of our junk that we don't need. My goal was to declutter for moving but also so we can start using some of our wedding gifts in our new house. We made enough to pay for almost all of our blinds. Cody and I were thrilled! Plus we were able to take the remaining amount to the salvation army :)

Please say a prayer all goes through as planned. We are supposed to close on Thursday. After spending two hours on the phone with the bank Friday and making phone calls to get out need to completes complete, I am hoping we are now ready to close.
