Birthday

These are the pictures from the birthday fun with my family. Cody's parents took us out to dinner for his birthday but I forgot my camera. Here are a few pictures from Friday on my birthday.

School Birthday

This was my first year as a classroom teacher with a birthday and boy did my students make me feel special! They brought me a bunch of gifts and hugs with well wishes. It was such a great time. 

My ring bearer from our wedding is in our CD program and he stopped me for a hug with a birthday card. Love that previous any!

My hubby brought me a yummy Chickfila lunch and got to see all my kiddos :)

My door was decorated by Kristin with such cute birthday items!

At the end of the day, my kids enjoyed Krispy Kreme doughnuts!

This number has rang through my head all day. My little sister turned twelve today. It's amazing to think what life would be like without her and what it's turned into with her :) The only man she has known beside me is Cody and boy does she love her brother in law! Here are a few pictures over the years.

Never forget

This day is important for 2 reasons...

I remember 10 years ago that when the first tower was hit, I was in the "trailer" (believe they are now called cottages) section of our school at Spanish. It was only my 3rd week of high school. I was a freshman. At the time, I didn't know what had happened. We switched classes around the time that the 2nd tower was hit so I found out when I got to English and I remember watching it the rest of the day. Its amazing its been ten years. We never will forget..Thank you to all our servicemen and women, firefighters and police officers. We appreciate all you do!

I saw this status on someone's Facebook and I borrowed it..

For the husband who told his wife I love you one last time before his plane went down in a field, for the wife who stopped in the stairs to call her husband to say I will love you forever, for the mothers and fathers who kissed their kids goodbye the morning they died, for the policemen who rushed… in with the firemen to help get others out only to die themselves, for the soldiers who fought back and lost their lives. Today, tomorrow, ten years from now, we will remember 9/11. ♥

Also-I remember 5 years ago on this very date, Cody's first niece was born. I have claimed her as my niece for quite a long time now but its official in 6 weeks :) Cassidy turned 5 today and we enjoyed her party with her mom/Cody's sister, Ali, as well as their other sister Kenzie plus a few of Cassidy's friends.

Birthday

Last night, Cody and I were invited to cheer on the Gamecocks and celebrate James's birthday (a week early). We had such a great time. James is one of the groomsmen for our wedding and a friend of ours from high school. We had a great time catching up and spending the evening with friends!!

Birthday WILW

I am loving this is a birthday fun of What I am Loving Wednesday!

I am loving that I turned 24 today!!

I am loving my new camera strap that finally came in the mail today!!

I am loving my friend Anissa that sells Scentsy. She bought me a brick of my favorite scent (my wish)  and a room spray plus found a wine bottle night light that is so pretty (and fits me to a T)!

I am loving all the well wishes, birthday cards, and gifts that I got from my fellow teachers at NMBP today. I have always enjoyed my birthday (I know, I know..big surprise!) but today was even more special. When I walked into classes today to pick up my students, almost all the students sung to me or shouted out Happy birthday! That is roughly 300 kids..I am sure the teachers were sick of it ;) I appreciate all the love!

I am loving our birthday cake! I had a piece for breakfast this morning and I am about to enjoy another piece. Tomorrow diet starts back (well got to finish up cake!)!
