Oops

Sorry for going so long without a post. This week was crazy. The stomach flu knocked me out Friday through Monday of work. Then still felt funny Tuesday but boy did I enjoy being back at work with my kiddos!

I babysat last night and tonight for the slapniks. I had j and k at first baptist. They are such sweet kiddos! My night will be spent playing:

Ugh

Today was an ugh day. I woke up feeling fine but I quickly started feeling sick. I barely made it through duty before I got sick again. I called in a sub and came home to spend the day in and out of the bathroom. I moved from the bed to the couch and back and forth. Everytime I would move, coco moved with me. I still don't feel good but am slowly moving in that direction. I had sharp stomach pains all day as well as stomach bug fun :) the pains have left but still having other symptoms. Coco couldn't decide where to be ;)

Months

Tonight our school hosted a staff versus staff basketball game. I worked the door for tickets for a shift then met Cody to enjoy the game. We has fun seeing a few of my students and catching up with friends. Today was our five month wedding anniversary. I know it's not a big deal but it's something to celebrate :)

At the game, we ran into our ring bearers and I ended up taking them to eat while Cody and there dad went to watch a basketball game at buffalo wild wings. How fitting to spend the evening with them on our five month anniversary :) hope everyone had a good day!

This number has rang through my head all day. My little sister turned twelve today. It's amazing to think what life would be like without her and what it's turned into with her :) The only man she has known beside me is Cody and boy does she love her brother in law! Here are a few pictures over the years.

This weekend has flown by! Yesterday Elizabeth and I went to the saint Patrick's day parade on main street. We had a great time and ran into a fellow teacher friend to hang with during the parade. I also ran into one of my students. Cody was working directing traffic.

Afterwards Kristin and I went and found fabric for my new curtains. I just wasn't crazy about what I had so Elizabeth and I thought and decided to just create some. She made them already but I will share tomorrow :)

(1) I love pictures. I love taking them. I love seeing them. They are everywhere in my house.

(2)  Decorating is something I really enjoy doing. My husband called it mini hoarding but I love the details that changed our house into a home.

(3) My mom is my best friend. I couldn't be blessed with a better mother (or daddy).

(4) I married my high school sweetheart (also-Samantha did too!).

(5) I am a Daddy's girl even though I am just like him and I drive him crazy.

(6) I am  loving  being a teacher. First Grade Rocks!

(8) I am blessed with an amazing husband who takes care of me but challenges me to try hard and think quick.

(9) I am not the best cook but I am trying. Deserts have been mastered.

(10) My sister is almost 13 years younger than me. I think I am having as hard of a time as my parents see her grow up :)

4) Where is the coolest place you’ve ever visited? Cleveland, Ohio. My grandpa played baseball and then coached until he retired in 1997. His major team (Indians) flew our family up there for his retirement ceremony and treated us to a long weekend of a lot of fun. It was the last family vacation that we took (Mom, dad and me) before my little sister was born in 2000 :)

5) Have you ever been out of the country? If so, where? Of course, I just went to Epcot. Haha

Mailbox

We have had our mailbox up for almost two weeks and our sticker on it but I wanted to share it because I love it! I am not going to lie. Everytime I pull into our house I smile and it starts when I see our mailbox. It's just such a good feeling to be home. Our home and it starts with the mailbox haha

Birthday

Tomorrow is my dad's birthday. We drove to columbia yesterday to spend last night and today with my family. Nana made daddy a meal last night and today I cooked for everyone. Baked spaghetti from pinterest of course!

Character Parade

Yesterday, NMBP celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday by having a character parade! The adults had as much fun as the students :) I have parental permission for all my students pictures to be shared on the classroom blog but I also have it for certain students on my personal blog.
