Birthday

Today my Coco turns three. I can't believe we have had her almost three years. She isn't the most friendly cat but she loves me :)

It is also my nana's birthday. Hope she also has a great day!

Ahhh

We had a great vacation but boy does it feel great to be home!!! We got home around lunch. I was unpacked and repacked for my trip to Atlanta Tuesday within an hour of being home. I am headed to Atlanta for ThirtyOne conference. Woohoo!

This evening we worked VBS at our church. I was doing the registration booth and Cody is doing the rec/sport games. I left as soon as registration was finished to go see one of my students from last year baptized on the beach. It was such a neat experience! Here are some pics off cell phone today:

Isle of palms

We have been in isle of palms since Tuesday and had such a great vacation. It was nice to enjoy my family for a few days and escape the crazy summer in Nmb. I always forget how crazy tourists are until they come every year. It's much nicer to be the tourist somewhere else :)

Vacation

Enjoying the past few days in isle of palms with my family. It's nice to be with my mom, dad, sister and of course hubby. Will share some more details soon about vacation but for now I want to share something.

I got a call this morning from my friend that I took pictures of last Saturday. She had tried to pick up her pictures at Walgreens. I ordered the cd on Sunday before we left. She ordered the prints and the manager wouldn't allow her to pick up until she showed proof of copyright information for her "professional pictures". I had to call to verify they weren't professional shots and I was just someone having fun. I was blown away! It was a huge complement that I don't find to be true but I was excited ;) these are my favorite two:

Cody

My husband is in a job interview right now. It's at the city still but will be a promotion from what he is doing. Please say a quick prayer for peace for him and for the right results. This could be him not getting it or receiving the job-depends on god's plan :) thank you!

Mr. & Mrs.

Cody picks on me about lots of things-in a good, married way :) I "celebrate" every month on the 22nd with a happy anniversary. He says we don't have to celebrate each month but I always have enjoyed a reason to celebrate. We don't go out to dinner or do anything big, it's just spending time together. Tonight, I curled up on the couch with him while he watched a movie and I read 50 shades :)

I am excited to say today is 75% of our first year of marriage complete. Cheesy, yes! But I am glad to say we are here!

The Longs

I have always enjoyed taking pictures. Most of my friends pick on me that if I am not somewhere that there are no pictures to share. I went through a phase where I wasn't taking many pictures but now I am back in FULL force! After messing around with photography for some friends, I have started taking pictures for friends. I had a session last night with a sweet family that I met during my time at First Baptist. I worked with their oldest, Peyton, in the preschool program and she is too cute! Peyton will be in first grade this year and Madison is 3! Jamie and Jamie (I was getting confused during the session yesterday calling their names) have such a precious family!
